COVID-19 Information for Guests

The health, safety and security of our guests and employees is our highest priority. Please take a moment to take note of how we are providing a safe environment to welcome our guests into our accommodation.

We strive to take all of the appropriate measures to reduce the risks of Covid-19 for our staff, guests and visitors to our accommodation.

A Risk Assessment has been completed that identifies the possible risks

The result of this Risk Assessment is that we have invested in various types of equipment and implemented a number of procedures to reduce the risk of infection and demonstrate to our Guests that we offer an environment that is safe and COVID-19 secure.

An overview of what we have done/ are doing and how you can assist us is documented below

Social Distancing

We expect all our staff and guests to observe a 2 metre distancing from each other when inside the accommodation.

To help everyone comply with this we have made a number of changes.

  1. You must pre book a check in time so that we do not have all our guests arriving at once
  2. On arrival please observe the signage/ floor markings and maintain a 2 metre distance from our receptionist during the check in process
  3. When moving around the property please try to avoid passing other guests in our corridors unless there is an emergency such as the fire alarm sounding
  4. Please stay out of all rooms marked as no entry to guests unless there is an emergency

Check in/ Check out

We are providing clean and disinfected keys upon check-in. All rooms must be pre-paid before arrival so just leave keys in designated area at reception when checking out

We are increasing cleaning and disinfecting frequency throughout the property, paying attention to high-touch items. We will deep clean each room after every stay in line with our updated cleaning procedures based on WHO and government guidelines.

We are ventilating public areas as much as possible to allow increased air circulation.

Hand sanitiser units are installed in public areas. Please use them especially when entering and leaving the building. We ask all our employees and guests to follow good personal hygiene practises including

  • Covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve (not hands) when coughing or sneezing.
  • Ensuring used tissues are placed in the bin straight away
  • Avoiding touching of eyes, mouth, nose unless hands are clean

We are washing all linens at a temperature above 60°C for optimal disinfection.

We are providing team members with comprehensive hygiene and prevention training programme also with PPE and Face Coverings

We would also ask for our guests to wear face coverings whilst in the communal areas of the accommodation.

Food and Drink

These are available at the Dog & Gun, which is adjacent to Leeming Wells. Table reservations must be pre-booked to avoid disappointment.

Swimming Pool and Spa

The swimming pool is open and is on a rota system which can be booked via reception however the sauna remains closed until further notice.

Finally

We understand how much you are looking forward to your stay at Leeming Wells but please do not come if you have been advised by NHS test or trace to self-isolate or if you or anyone you live with is showing any of the following symptoms.

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

unless you have been tested and found negative for coronavirus

If you or one of your guests develop symptoms during your stay then please self isolate in your room and let a member of staff know so we can assist you until you can arrange for a test to be carried out or until the end of your stay.
